Foresight workshop with United Europe for young professionals and students

Based on the scenarios for the future "Digital Europe 2030", young professionals and students will develop recommendations for action for the EU in this transfer workshop

Based on the scenarios "Digital Europe 2030", the group will reflect on the skills necessary for the European job market of the future as well as the ways in which Europe’s education systems will have to adapt.

The project “Digital Europe 2030“ combines the topics of the public sphere and digital sovereignty and systematically analyses possible futures in order to provide new impulses to Germany’s approach towards the Presidency of the Council of the EU. In a variety of working sessions, the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft, together with an interdisciplinary group of experts and methodically supported by the company Foresight Intelligence, has developed possible scenarios for the year 2030.

In order for these scenarios to develop their full effect, they are now the subject of several transfer workshops. On 24 September, we invite young professionals and students to a digital workshop together with United Europe. We will first present our scenarios to the participants and reflect on them together. Based on the scenarios, the participants will reflect on the skills necessary for the European job market of the future as well as the ways in which Europe’s education systems will have to adapt.

Participation in the workshop is by invitation only. The results will be presented in a short video for social media. If you have any questions, please contact Samuel Walker.
